Telling the stories of compelling characters in a unique fantasy setting is my passion. As an English fantasy author, I create worlds that stretch the imagination, in the hope of igniting the passion and dreams of my readers.
Poetry
If I am inspired I will write poetry. Often this is of romantic or reflective nature. I post these on my tiktok and Instagram channels.

The realm and its saviour
The epic fantasy book from the English fantasy author, Gordon Kemper, 'The Edge of Destiny', is about the path of two young heirs.
Perilous times have befallen the newfound Republic of Aequalitas. The political landscape shifts, as the fading ‘great houses’ move into a new era where democracy, technology and magic all fight to find their place. Like the world around them, two young men must find their way and decide on what is best for their house, dreams and the realm itself. Follow Titus and Blake as they mature on different paths, exploring their values, morals and possibly, the destiny of the realm.

Of Love, Life and Literature
What does it mean to chase your dreams? For me, it was traveling the world with two suitcases, while writing my debut fantasy novel. I met amazing people and saw unexpected beauty. I also spent a lot of time alone, unsure of my future path. Inside this book, you will find my journey distilled into poetry: Of Love, Life and Literature and the intangibles in between.

The epic fantasy book 'The Constellations of Power’ by Gordon Kemper, is about the story of Echo: a young Gemini trying to find her identity in a Greek-themed world which is governed by astrology. Echo is a starless acolyte who follows the temple scripture diligently. Her beliefs are shaken when she leaves the temple and experiences the actions of those in power: The Starborn. Will she continue to follow the temple scripture, or make her way in a world where your role is decided at birth?

About the author...
Gordon Kemper used to work in the IT sector but began pursuing his literary calling in 2023. During this time, he discovery poetry, and has since then distilled his experiences into his first poetry book: Of Love, Life and Literature. He has self-published his first fantasy novel: The Edge of Destiny and is working on two other projects. When he is not creating fantasy worlds or composing poetry, he enjoys tabletop games, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, climbing, and traveling the world for inspiration. He currently lives in Düsseldorf, Germany.
